Being Mrs Mo {Portraits}

i'm not at all photogenic and my husband hates taking pictures so the idea of doing a post wedding photo shoot with our outfits was never an option unless someone offered us a million bucks! but still, i wanted some sort of photo collection to commemorate our wedding :)

the trend these days see couples posing with quirky props and 50s costumes snapped and photoshop-ed in vintage-finish. very cute but it's just not us. having styled weddings for the last six years, i strongly believe weddings are a personal and intimate occasion (can't stress this enough!) thus every aspect of it should reflect the couple's character. i know it sounds typical-cliche wedding planner statement to make but people still don't listen and make a conscious effort to make it truly theirs. for me, its a simple way to ensure you don't follow trends blindly and also in 20 years time saving you from saying "God, that was so 2012!".

eventually the choice of having black and white portraits was made because b/w candid pictures always hold a timeless element to it. just clean, plain black and white. more like us i suppose :)

thank you darryl (tinydot photography)!

  1. You two make a gorgeous couple! And the photos are so laidback, and casual, and they just show the both of you in your most comfortable skin - yourselves. Beautiful!
